Individual Butterfly and Backstroke Relays

Tonight the kids swam in the individual butterfly race along with the backstroke relays.  My kids are pretty good better flyers and backstrokers so tonight was fun.  How funny is it that Berkley is the same height as the starting block?
Can't believe I have a 4 year old who can backstroke across the whole pool!
 Proud swimmer!
Ledger has the best birthday for swimming because he will be 7 in a week but gets to swim against all the 6 and unders.  Ledger is becoming a competitive little swimmer now that he is on top of his game!
Case has an incredible backstroke start.

Thane and Brody were half of the relay tonight.  They placed third.
Miss B is the best butter flyer.  By best I don't mean that she is fast and comes in first every race.  By best I mean that she inchworms across the pool with her little bum sticking out with every stroke.  It is stinkin cute!
How fun to have Sydney Otten waiting at the end of the pool for you? Miss B. is lucky to have so many friends!

Case gets a medal every swim meet.  He is competitive and strong and loves to race.
Brody is just happy to be at the meet.  He loves getting third, fourth, second…it doesn't matter, he is just happy.  He never medals but doesn't seem to mind.  I love that about Brody.
The last race of the night was the 6 and under double freestyle.  Ledger and Berkley got to swim this race and it was so funny.  Jeremy and I have decided that maybe our kids are not endurance swimmers. They are much faster at their individual races.
Berkley swam the race slow as a turtle tonight but she made it across the pool…2 laps…without stopping.  This girl is the best!

Way to go Ledger The Legend!
