Piano Recital 2014

Today felt like the longest day of my life.  It started with a primary program practice and ice cream party from 9:00-11:00.  Then it was off to the ASU vs Washington State football game (which Brody and I missed ) then we had a Child Of Record Baptism that we were in charge of and finally we ended the night with a piano recital at the church.  I must have been tired because I was grouchy and not in the mood to be at a piano recital!  That being said, the boys did a great job tonight.  Case has been working so hard and played Pompei.  It was a pretty long song but he did great.

Up next was Brody who played, "Old Time Rock and Roll." He is such a great piano player.  I hope he sticks with it cause he is good!

And look who joined the piano party this year.  Ledger has amazing talent on the piano.  He can play by ear which is a talent.  Tonight he played, "When Our Band Goes Marching By."

For some reason, the recital felt like it went on and on and on.  Here are all the kids who performed tonight.

Russel York is their teacher again this year and the boys really enjoy him.  He comes to our house each Wednesday which works great for me!  

ASU VS Utah

 Tonight our Devils squared off with the Utah Utes.  Kick off was at 8:00 tonight and we were still a little wiped out from Halloween and 7:30 am football this morning.  Luckily, this game did not disappoint!

 The boys wore their Halloween costumes tonight.  Sparky is always a hit!  He has to get his picture taken with everyone in sight because everyone is so excited to see him!

 We got to the game just in time for the pre game show.  Super fun!

 These little Devils didn't care that it was bedtime at kickoff  They were pumped up and ready for some football!

 Our Devils have had some highs and lows this year.  This game was no different.  We came out strong and then things got intense.

 By about 11:30, this little lady had had it.  She was freezing cold and wiped out.  I ended up having to take her for a little walk to warm her up.  A concession stand worker took pity on her and gave up her jacket so she could stay warm.  After that, she was fine.

 Our boys made their big debut on Fox 10 Sports tonight.  The video is short and sweet but HILARIOUS!

 At about 11:50 pm  the Devils and Utes were tied at 16-16.  The game was going into overtime.  After the coin toss, we opted to start on defense.  I thought that was a weird decision but I'm not the coach.  The Utes make it down the field and kick a field goal.  Just as the kicker kicks, we call a time out.  The kicker misses the kick.  After the time out, the Utes set up for a field goal and guess what, he misses AGAIN! As bad as I wanted my Devils to win, I felt bad for the kicker.  So here come our Devils down the field.  We kick the field goal on the 4th down and we MAKE IT! The DEVILS WIN 19-14!

Everyone went CRAZY!  It was the most amazing game EVER and this time we stayed until the end to see it! There was a mad rush on the field and craziness in the stands!  DEVILS WIN! We pulled into our house around 12:30 exhausted and pumped up! We laughed thinking that we went to the ASU game Saturday night and got home Sunday morning. Soooo fun! Can't wait until we play Notre Dame at home next weekend.  Hopefully our Devils are Rose Bowl bound and we can go! Stay tuned!
