Today it was Case's turn to see Doctor James for a 7 year old well check. After the height, weight, vision and hearing tests, Nurse Belinda told Case that he would need to take off all his clothes down to his underwear and that Dr. James would be in soon. Immediately after the door shut, Case stood up on the examination table, ripped off his shorts (much like a male stripper) and sang, "This Is How We Do It." He then proceeded to do some hip thrusting and dancing as he sat back down and waited for the doctor to come in. Dr. James was running waaaaay behind this day which gave Case and I some alone time to talk. This kid is funny. He says things that literally crack me up. Today he told me that when you see a pretty lady standing next to a lamp post you are supposed to point your finger at her, make this clicking sound with your tongue and cheek, tuck your chin to your neck and say, (in a very low voice) "hellllloooo." I have no idea where he gets this stuff but it is funny.
At 7 years old, Case is
47.7 inches tall (38%)
49 pounds (35%)
and has good eye sight and hearing.
Dr. James asked Case all sorts of questions about school, teachers, and grades. I think he passed the quiz!
