Last night our family attended the Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet. Brody earned a few awards which made it even more fun. At one of the weekly den meetings, the boys each made robots for the centrepieces. Love Love Love the way Brody's turned out!
The Primary Presidency was in charge of decorations for the night and as you can see, we had a blast making the cultural hall look, "Out Of This World."
My 1st counselor Kristal enlisted her hubby to paint some planets and the huge rocket below. They looked amazing!
(what is up with the way these picts are posting? Too weird!)
Each of my kids helped us make planets with the glow in the dark paint.

And of course all space parties need glow in the dark robots and aliens.
Miss Jody let me borrow this awesome space board. Ledger looks like a real space dude!
This is a cute group of boys. So lucky to have them in Cub Scouts.
Carsen, Kohl, Ryan and Brody
When the boys arrived, they made flying saucer space ships out of paper plates and then threw them through hanging hula hoops. So fun!
Brody earned his Religious Knot tonight along with belt loops in Computers, Chess,
Photography and Kickball. Way to go Bro!
Oh...and he advanced from Wolf to Bear. Here he is walking the bear trail.
This is the cutest little 9 year old bear ever!
(Whose extra arm is in the picture? Hilarious!)

The best part of the evening were the marshmallow shooters that my fantastic 2nd counselor Natalie made. Let's just say there were marshmallows EVERYWHERE when we were done. It was AWESOME!
Oh did I mention there was also slime at the party? It was truly a night to remember. When the boys arrived, they made flying saucer space ships out of paper plates and then threw them through hanging hula hoops. So fun!
