Our last week at the cabin was amazing. Our crowded cabin members all left on Saturday after the golf tournament and the kids and I stayed for another week of bliss. My Mother In Law came over and stayed with us so it was just the 6 of us. We had a calm, relaxing and amazing weekend.
Papa came up for the weekend and we put him right to work helping Case build a pencil box.
We spent most of our days at the rec hall. The boys are really getting good at pool.
Case and I played some air hockey.
I even scored some points to beat Case.
After the rec hall each afternoon, we came home and rode bikes and rollerbladed until it got dark.
Brody painted the tool box he made last week for his Webelos requirement.
Miss B. made a butterfly from a clothes pin,
The boys painted anything and everything they could at the rec hall.
Case needed to visit a fire station to learn about fire safety so we headed down to the fire department for a personal tour.
It hailed one afternoon and the lightening was both amazing and scary.
The kids played with their cousins Josh and Abby all month. They loved getting to know them better. It was a highlight of the month.
We are so sad we have to leave the cabin. We have had the most amazing and memorable time here. The month went by so fast and now we are headed home to heat and getting ready for school. We are a little depressed to say the least!
