My Spoiled Little Campers!

Last Friday night, after Case's BounceU birthday party, Jeremy pitched our 6 man tent in the backyard and had a camp out with the boys.  I had to sleep inside with the Misses which was fine with me.  I was a little jealous though that they were all eating popcorn and watching movies on my laptop while laying on their warm cots.  They loved sleeping in the backyard and waking up with the sun to play cards in their camping chairs outside the tent.  Can't wait to take these boys camping in a few weeks for the ward camp out.
Snugly, warm boys watching Dad set up the lantern.
Playing cards after a good nights sleep!

A Golden Birthday!

Today is April 5th.  It is also Case's 5th birthday.  I can't believe he is already 5.  He is growing up so fast and it can just stop anytime now!  It's hard to believe this little dude will be in Kindergarten next year.  Last Friday night, we celebrated his 5th birthday with a small party at BounceU in Gilbert.  He wanted to go there so bad and let me tell you...it was AWESOME!  We literally showed up, jumped, partied and then left.  No set up, party favors, clean up, it was great.  Actually, it was a little weird.  I am so used to the big party at my house that I felt a little guilty all day.  However at 7:00 Friday night when we left BounceU, I was happy and so was the birthday boy!!
Case the birthday boy!
A little air hockey is always fun!

Bouncing is sooo fun!!

Case has the greatest personality.  He is super kind, happy and concerned about others feelings.  He is really in tune with how different situations make people feel.  He loves to share and help.  Case adores his Dad and big brother Brody.  He tells me often that he loves Dad more then me which really hurts my feelings but makes me happy that he thinks Jeremy is so cool!  He is super cute with Miss B. and will go out of his way to make her smile and laugh.  Case is into this funny way of talking lately.  It's kinda a suave, cool man talk.  It makes me laugh.  Case loves to dance.  Somewhere he has learned to break dance.  You should see this kid do the worm.  It's hilarious!  Case is the kid that you think isn't paying attention or really getting what is going on, and then out of know where he will surprise you with what he knows.  He is super funny and very into teasing and joking.  You can ask this kid a serious question and he will answer it withe some ludicrous answer (ex:  The doctor last week asked Case how old he was.  His answer:  "I'm 100."  Another question from that same doctor.  "Case do you like to play ball?"  Answer:  "No, I like to take naps!") He is a comedian! Case is super athletic.  He swims like a fish, can hit a ball like no other, and shoot a basket like the pros.  He is good at anything he tries.  This birthday boy makes all of us happy.  I love him so much and hope his golden birthday is the best birthday ever!  Here are some things about our little 5 year old that you may not know.

"Favorite color?" "Blue."

"Favorite food?" "Sandwiches."

"Favorite Drink?" "Lemonade."

"Favorite dessert?" " Ice cream...orange sherbet."

"Best Friend?"  "B...Jefferson." (I think he was going to say Brody but changed his mind!)
Jefferson and Case!

"Favorite thing to do at home?" "Watch T.V." "Case you don't watch T.V."  "Go in the tent!"

"Favorite thing about going to Pre-Kindergarten?" "Playing motorcycles."

"Favorite toy to play with?"  "My DS."

"Why are you excited to go to kindergarten?" "Cause I want to see all the new stuff!"

"What is your favorite thing to do with Dad?" "Go in his truck!"

"What is your favorite thing to do with Mom?" "Nothing!" "Oh Case...really?" "I'm sure!"

"What do you want to be when you grow up?" "Ummm...just a teenager."  "A dentist."

"Why do you want to be a dentist?" "Cause I wanna see all the teeth!"
No birthday would be complete without breakfast in bed, lunch at Serranos and dinner at Cheesecake Factory!  Happy 5th birthday CaseMan!

These Little Peeps...

...want to say "HAPPY EASTER!"

Hope you are all enjoying a wonderful spring day with your family.  We went to Sugar's house first thing this morning for breakfast and a very competitive adult egg hunt.  You think I'm kidding but I'm not.  See this is how it works.  Sugar hides hundreds of eggs for Jeremy and I, Ash and Ryan,  and H and Nicole to find.  The problem?  These eggs have money in them!  Not the typical quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies.  Nooooo!  We're talking, one, five, ten and twenty dollar bills in them.  Oh it is ugly!  Seriously! We are all so poor right now that we all want to get the most eggs and therefore end up with the most money.  Let's just say there is a lot of trash talking, pushing, yelling and arguing during the adult egg hunt.  We are not very good examples to our kids who are watching in dismay, but we do laugh when it's all over!    Jeremy was the big winner this year and I did pretty good myself!
The kids egg hunt is much more calm.
The kids loved finding eggs with candy and quarters in them.
Ledger, Case, Brody, Miss B. Ella, Presley and Brooklyn.
Cousins are the best!

Brody found sooo many eggs today!  He is a great egg hunter!

Did the Easter Bunny really hide eggs on the swing set?
Ledger was happy finding eggs today!
Miss B. loved playingin the grass while the boys found their eggs.  Next year this girl will be running with the boys!
After Sugar's house, we came home and did our family egg hunt which took about 5 minutes this year!  The kids loved it but mostly loved their Easter baskets from the Easter Bunny!  Around 3:00 we headed over to GG and GPa's house for another egg hunt and G-Pa's famous burgers.  He also has an egg hunt which is super fun for us all! I love Easter for the very reason that it is simple.  The weather is usually perfect, the food and desserts are wonderful, and I get to spend it all with those I love the most!  Happy Easter to you all!

Miss Berkley's face says it all.  We are CRAZY after today!

Wild Animals!

Yesterday my Mom took my wild animals to the zoo with Ash, Nicole and their kids.  Yes, I bailed out, but only cause I needed to make sure the Easter Bunny was going to be ready for Sunday!  They had a great time with all their cousins and of course Sugar.
This is what it looks like at the zoo with 5 adults and 6 kids under 7!
Auntie Nicole' s wagon was a hit!  Unfortunately not everyone could ride in it at one time!! Ledger, Ella and Case enjoyed the ride!
Feeding the giraffes was sooo fun!  Ledger doesn't look one bit afraid of that long, thick, black tongue coming toward him!.  I'll have to ask Sugar about that one!!
Case enjoying a merry-go-round ride!

Baseball Season Is In Full Swing!

We are crazy right now with baseball!  We have Case in T-Ball and Brody in his second year of Coach Pitch. Brody has games on Monday and Wednesday nights while Case's games are Tuesday and Thursday nights.   Yesterday as Jeremy and I were driving to Case's game, we looked at each other and said, "This has been a long season already!"  Then we remembered this was only Case's first game of the season!  I swear we have been practicing FOREVER!!  I hope I can make it through the next 5 weeks.  The hardest part is that the games are at 5:30,  right during dinner, homework, bath time, etc. etc., etc.  It makes for a looong night!!  Anyhow, both boys are doing great and having fun playing and having a drink and snack after the game
(I actually think that is their favorite part!!)  I am having fun watching them both on the baseball field!  Can't wait till Ledger starts his baseball season!

The league started the season with an opening ceremonies last Saturday.  The boys had their individual and team pictures taken that day.  It was funny watching Case being told how to hold the bat and stand.  He thought the whole thing was a bit ridiculous (as you can see!!)

Our cheerleader Miss B. says, "Go Express!"  "Go Hooks!"
