"Do I Have A Hundred Hours Left?"

That is what my grandpa said to us Sunday night at his 87th birthday party as he opened his new digital picture frame that shows 100 hours of pictures!!  We all fell over laughing cause he seriously probably has 100 more YEARS left!!  Those of you who know my grandpa know how energetic and active he is.  He goes to work 6 days a week, attends City Of Mesa functions (often speaking at them). He comes to my kids baseball games, swim meets, and what ever else they have going on. He is very involved in the community. He is stubborn, funny, sneaky at the Easter egg hunts, and kind.  We love him and his funny sense of humor.  Happy 87th birthday grandpa!

Grandpa was hysterical when he opened his birthday cards.

The Best Week Ever!!

I've mentioned several time before how awesome Case's preschool is right?  Well this week Case got to be the Super Star of his class.  It was the best week ever for him...and us.  He got to eat off the "You are special" plate, have breakfast in bed, and have our family visit his school on Friday.  He felt so special and really enjoyed the week as Super Star.  Thanks Miss Jody and Miss Ashley for making Case feel like the most awesome kid ever...not only this week, but every week!!

Is he the cutest super star ever...YES!!
This happy family loves their super star!!
(Miss B. loves the super star so much she is pulling his hair!!)
The super star poster.  It was hard to fit all this kid's activities on one poster board!
A few things about our little super star.
Case with the best preschool teacher ever...Miss Jody!  Can you believe she was my kindergarten teacher 31 years ago?
We had so much fun visiting Case's preschool for his super star week!  What a fun and memorable day for us all!!  We especially loved El Charro for lunch after our visit! Brody loved a day off of first grade to help Miss Jody in the classroom! I am so proud of this cute boy!
The morning of our visit to Case's classroom, Case got to have breakfast in bed.  My boys love having breakfast in bed!! Case wanted scrambled eggs, bacon and an English muffin.  So fun!

Three Boys and A Ho!

Today we took the boys to the Cubs spring training game at HoHo Kam Stadium.  The weather was cold but nice...I loved it!!  The boys ate their way through 7 innings and enjoyed watching the players from 1st base. Can't wait to go back!
These boys were ready for some baseball!
Jeremy is a Ho Ho which means he parks cars at the spring training games. He also gets to wear a super cool outfit.  It's all volunteer work and a fun way to meet new people.  My Grandpa was a Ho, My Dad was a Ho, Jeremy's Grandpa was a Ho and his Dad is a Ho.  It runs in the family!
Case is a dad's guy.  He loves spending time with Jeremy!

Happy Birthday Sugar!

This is my Mom.  The grandkids call her Sugar.  She is smart, kind, generous and strong. She picked herself up and kept our family together after my Dad died.  She would not let us fall apart (even though we tried!) She is involved in charity work and raising money for others who are sick.  She is the best mom and friend I could ever ask for.  I hope one day I can live up to the example that she has always been to me.  Today is her birthday.  Happy Birthday Sugar!  We love you tons and hope you have the best day ever!

Breathing Treatments

My kids have seriously been sick since the end of January.  Each week it's a different kid.  First it was Brody, sore throat, cough, congestion.  Then Case, same symptoms.  Then Brody again only this time add an ear infection, then Case, cough, congestion, wheezing.  Then came Miss B.  Cough, runny nose, congestion, and now we are back to Brody.  I think the pediatrician was ready for me to get the heck out of his office this morning after I took Brody in for all the usual symptoms and ended up having him look at Ledger and Miss B.  I have been to his office twice a week for the last 4 weeks.  It's ridiculous!!  Now we are starting to think Brody and Case have asthma.  They both have appointments with an allergist who is extremely difficult to get in to. Each night this is what we have to do at our house.  Actually, we are supposed to be doing this every 4 hours with both boys.  It is a pain but seems to help them sleep better and feel better.  Can't wait to see what the super popular allergist says!  Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.  Know a good doctor? Any ideas about natural medications?  Will they eventually grow out of this? I'm all ears!!

It looks worse then it really is...I promise!!
