This morning we took the kids to Sunrise Ski Resort for a hike. The weather was perfect and we had a good time hiking down.
The hiking gang.
Two minutes into the hike, Sugar went down on the rocks. Case ran right to her aide and off we went.
About 10 minutes into our hike, people from the chair lift above us started yelling down, "Keep your kids close, there is a bear a little way's down." Say what? A Bear? We were on high alert for the rest of the hike.
Of course we had to stop a the "Sugar" run so the grand kids could get a picture with Sugar.
Our cute hiking gang. Brody made trail mix (yes it's a Cub Scout requirement) and everyone was happy.
The trail was pretty rocky and steep in some places. Everyone made it down in one piece but there were lots of falls and tears.
The hike was beautiful.
Ledger was a bit whiny for half the hike but made up for it at the end when he ran to the chair lift for one last ride up and down.
As long as this kid is outside, he is a happy camper!
Brody rocked out to music as we hiked down Sunrise. So happy he is a Cub Scout and we are able to do some of these family activities.
