Each day after golf and tennis, the kids head up to the rec hall for hours of non-stop fun. They craft, play games, zip line, and play on the playground. They love it here and hate when 4:00 rolls around and they have to go home.
There are tons of kids up here which is fun for us all. To the surprise of the boys, some of their swim team friends were here. Can you spot Ledger?
Brody is all about the daily craft activities at the rec hall. He has painted, made pottery, made spaceships and necklaces, watercolored and used styrofoam shapes to make all sorts of space creatures. He is my art kid!
All Case wants to do is play Dodgeball for hours with all the kids at the rec hall.
Ledger has perfected the "cherry drop" off the bar on the swing set. You should see the sand content in this boy's hair each night when we give him a bath.
Another rec hall highlight was the afternoon scavenger hunt. The cute teenage kids that run the rec hall have this one all figured out. Each group got a list of about 50 items that they had to collect. I'm not kidding when I say this activity took 2 hours! Is this group of cute boys the winning scavenger hunt team? Case, Collin, Ledger, Hunter and Brody.
This all girl team actually won the scavenger hunt. They were bound and determined to get all the items on the list. Brooklyn, Ella, Ava and Katlyn.
One of the items on the list was "A Pair Of Sunglasses." Brody decided that since there were none of those lying around in the forest he would make his own.
Of course Miss B. is right there making crafts at the rec hall with the boys. The more glue that the project involves, the better it is!
