TAG!

For Case's 7th Birthday Party, he wanted to take a few friends to Stratum Laser Tag for an afternoon of guns and video games.  PERFECT!  Since there was no school on Friday, we were able to go Thursday after school which worked out perfect since that was Case's actual birthday.
Some of the boys getting the run down on how the guns work.
Jackson, Hunter, Luke, Ledger, Nate, Jack, Drew, Ella, Sugar
Hayden, Cole, Case and Matix
Jack and Leger were a little hesitant about laser tag.  It is pitch black and there is loud techno music blaring.  Everything is glowing and there is a maze of stairs and ramps everywhere.  Jack hung onto me like we were best friends.  It was cute.
Ella and Jeremy tagging the other team.
Taking a break for pizza and soda.
Nate, Katlyn, Ella, Jack and a hiding Miss  B.
Getting the gear on again for another game of laser tag!
Singing happy birthday to the 7 year old.  Nothing like ice cream cupcakes from Cold Stone.
After the party, we dropped off all the friends and headed over to Sugar's house for swimming and Outback Steakhouse for the adults.
It is tradition in our family to get a dollar for each year you are celebrating.  Case got 7 one dollar bills from GG and G-Pa
He also got a PoGo Stick from Sugar and Jim.  We were all laughing that Case wanted this since H.C. broke his nose and busted out his front teeth on a PoGo Stick when he was little.  I'll save that story for another time but for now, HAPPY BIRTHDAY CASE!

7

This cute kid turns 7 today.
He is smart, kind, sensitive, strong, athletic, compassionate, and thoughtful.
He makes me laugh and cry.
I worry about this kid.
I love this kid.
His big blue eyes make my heart skip a beat.
His 2 missing front teeth make me happy.
Watching this kid play sports (any sport) is pure excitement!
I love that he has definite opinions about things.
Happy 7th Birthday Case...now stop growing up!

For breakfast in bed this morning, Case requested: Orange Julius, Scrambled Eggs with 2 English Muffins so he can make it into a sandwich, bacon and sausage.

Let The Games Begin!

After way too many weeks of practice, the boys all started baseball games this week.  Brody has about 3 games a week while Case and Ledger each have about 2 a week.  It is going to be a crazy but fun baseball season! This is Ledger's first year playing T-Ball.  He has the cutest little team and two amazing coaches :).  Go River Dogs!  Go Rattlers!  Go Raptors!

Dang Cute!

Before the bus arrived this morning, I yanked Case's front tooth out.  With tears in his eyes he said, "Those were my two favorite teeth." We all laughed and then decided that this kid looks so cute with all his teeth gone.  Can't wait to see what the tooth fairy brings.
