Tonight we attended the school spring sing at Red Mountain High School. I have to be honest here. This will probably be our last time participating in the school sings. The whole experience was negative and I think we are done. The rehearsals and school practices in the weeks leading up to the spring sing were negative and it was obvious by what the boys were telling me, this night completely stresses the music teachers out! That being said, Ledger looked adorable on the stage tonight.
Ledger is always next to Addison since they are both so little.:) Addison's mom and I have become great friends since meeting last year at Berkley's dance class.

Next up was the 5th graders. I have to record this funny story because it had me cracking up today after school. So the boys get in the car this afternoon and start in on how horrible their music teacher is, and how mean she is. And then Case says, "Mom, can we please just skip the spring sing tonight? Mrs. Olsen is making us wear these bandanas and they are so dumb and I am going to look so horrible!" And then Ledger chime in from the third seat of my car, "Ya Mom, I am totally fine if we skip spring sing. Mrs. Olsen is mean and I don't care if we even go." All the while Brody's jaw is on the floorboard as he is listening to his two brothers. After all is said, Brody says, "We can't miss spring sing! I am singing this cool lightening song, and we only get to do this twice a year! And spring sing is so fun!" And on and on and on went Brody. I was cracking up listening to the conversation and the differences between these boys. Brody is all about music and art. Spring sing is right up his alley!

I wish I could say that I enjoyed the spring sing, but honestly, you can't hear what the kids are even singing and it felt like hours and hours of who knows what.
Last but not least was Case. Case buddy you were right, the principals a pirate song was pretty dumb! You however are pretty cute!
