Natural History Museum

Today I was able to attend the third grade field trip with Case.  It was kinda funny because Case was excited and a little embarrassed for me to be there.  Case was in a group with Nate Stradling which made him super happy!
When we first arrived at the museum, we headed outside to pan for gold.
After touring the underground mine and the jail, we went inside to see the dinosaur and Native American exhibits.
Can you imagine that these guys once roamed the earth?
Case, I am so happy I was able to attend the field trip with you today.  You are the cutest third grade boy in the whole school.  I love that you still kinda want me around you.  I hope that you will always want me around you cause I love you love you love you!

Easter Morning

Easter Morning is always fun around here.  The day started off at the crack of dawn with an egg hunt.
The kids raced around the yard like they were going to be the one to find all the eggs.  Sorry kids, you each only get to find 12!
Miss B. is getting super good at finding her eggs.
Sorry Brody but I don't think the Easter bunny hid any eggs on the swing set.
The sneaky Easter bunny hid an egg in the orange tree!
Don't touch those eggs kids, they belong to the mama quail!
After the kids found eggs, they quickly ran over to see what the Easter bunny had brought them.  Some of the favorites this year…Volcom shirts, kickballs and Amazon gift cards.
Berkley is all about these cute Maxi skirts from Target.
Being that Brody is all into technology, he got a new stylus for his Kindle Fire.
Case is obsessed with these Nike socks that all the boys are wearing.  He is my fashion dude!  Nice new swim suit Case!
Cute little Ledger showing off his new Volcom shirt.
While I was cooking breakfast, Case was taking pictures of Miss B. and her Easter goodies.  Hope you all had a great Easter Sunday.  I should mention that after church today, the Felstead family came over for dinner and more egg hunting.

Easter Saturday

Today we headed out to Scottsdale for Easter at Wendy and Phil's house.
The kids had so much fun playing in the pool and jacuzzi.
Thank goodness Sugar brought all her pool toys!
After swimming and dinner, it was time for grandma and grandpa's egg hunt.
Madison was in charge this year and he did things a little different.  He made the hunt into a race which was super fun!
Sugar and Ledger racing to find their money eggs.
Before it was Berkley's turn to find her egg, she got a pep talk from cousin John.
Aunt Nicole with Cave and Blake.
Girl cousins rock!  Berkley, Paisley, Anna and Presley.
 Brody, you crazy dude!
 Catching passes into the pool.
 You go Ledger!
Hilarious Case!  We had a great Easter Saturday at Wendy and Phil's house.  Can't wait to see what the Easter bunny brings us tomorrow!

Easter Friday

Easter weekend kicked off today with an egg dying party at Sugar's house with cousins and friends.
The kids swam and dyed eggs before eating lunch.
Brody is all about dying eggs.  He is so creative and artistic.
I love the smell of Easter egg dye.  As a child this was one of my favorite things to do.
Miss B. is also very creative and artistic.  She loves dying eggs!
Case usually doesn't have the patience or energy to dye eggs.  He is getting more into it each year.
 Having fun with cousins!
 Speckled eggs are so pretty!
This mama duck and her babies have taken over Sugar's pool.  They could have cared less that we were there today.  It was rainy and cool today which I think the ducks enjoyed!
 Ledger and his finished eggs.
 Case and his finished eggs.
 Brody and his finished eggs.
Berkley and her finished eggs (notice how most of them are pink?)
After we dyed eggs and ate lunch, Sugar sent all the kids on a scavenger hunt.  The kids were in heaven finding candy and treats around her house!
We had a great first day of our Easter weekend.  Thanks Sugar for a fun day!

Disney On Ice

This morning Libby and I surprised Jordan and Berkley and took them to Disney On Ice.  They had no idea we were doing this and boy were they surprised!
The girls loved the show, but they really loved the snow cones and popcorn!
Thanks Libby for getting us such amazing tickets!
These besties had a fun day today.  Never in a million years did I think I would ever go to a Disney On Ice show!
After the show, we walked to downtown Phoenix and ate at a really good restaurant called Fuego.  I will definitely be making that a favorite hang out!
