A Name And A Blessing

We are so blessed to have Miss Berkley in our home.  We love her so much! She was gorgeous today in her white dress and hot pink flower!!

These boys love their baby sister!  They looked so handsome for the blessing and Primary Program today!

I love my family!

Still can't believe I have a baby GIRL!!

I am lucky to have so many family members who made it to 8:00 church this morning!
Way to go family!!

Sugar needed a picture with her and Berkley for her Christmas card!  She already has them done!!  I'm so jealous!

Four generations of Pomeroy's!

Berkley loves GG and GPa because when they babysit her, they just hold her for hours and hours and hours!!

G Pa wore a special PINK tie for the blessing today!  Not only was it cute, he is totally in style.  I see MEN wearing pink ties and shirts all the time!!

Today was a special day for our family.  Today Berkley was given a name and a blessing in church.  Since Jeremy is not a member, we asked Bishop Hatch to bless our sweet baby. We could have asked other family members, but we didn't want to hurt any one's feelings by not asking them.  We love our Bishop and felt he was perfect for the job!!  Since we have 8:00 church, we were all up at the crack of dawn trying to get ready.  Wouldn't you know, Berkley did not sleep well last night.  It's like she new today was her big day.  She looked so beautiful in her white blessing dress, tights, fur socks and shoes.  Since I couldn't resist my new favorite color PINK, I added a hot pink flower in her hair along with a pink and white bracelet.  After I got her all dressed this morning, I laid her on my bed and asked the boys, "Doesn't she look so pretty?"  Case, in his funny, but oh so serious voice said to me, "She has to get MARRIED today?" I guess he thought since she had a long white dress on, she was getting married.  It was funny!!    All our family and friends showed up for the blessing.  Bishop Hatch did a remarkable job.  He blessed her with all the things Jeremy and I hope for her.  Education, Purity, Love for her Family, Love for the Gospel, An Example to Others, and a Missionary to our Family.  It was truly a wonderful blessing.  After the blessing our Primary children presented the Primary Program, "My Eternal Family" to the congregation.  The spirit was there and my eyes were heavy!  I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.  After sacrament was over, we all headed over to Sugar's house for brunch.  She had so much food there.  We all ate till we were stuffed!  It was delicious!  I am so truly thankful for this day.  I love this baby girl and I love my family.  I am a lucky girl!!

Wacky Hair Day!

Do you remember in elementary school when it was wacky hair day?  I sure do!  Today was the day for Brody.  We didn't have anything we needed or wanted for wacky hair day, so this was the best we could do.  Brody thought it was super cool this morning when he left for school, but when I met him at the bus stop after school...it was a different story. He had taken every clip out of his hair because, "Mom the kids were making fun of me all day."  "They were calling me a girl and laughing at me."  Darn first graders.  Why can't everyone just be nice?  He wasn't too shaken by the comments but a little disappointed.  I thought he looked great!

My Favorite Veterans

Grandma and Grandpa Pomeroy

These are my grandparents.  They were both in the war.  My grandma was in the Air Corps and my grandpa was an army tail gunner.  His plane was actually shot down in the war while he was recovering from an earlier gun shot wound.  That hospital stay actually saved his life because the rest of his batalion was killed when their plane went down. They have interesting stories about their time in the military.  I love hearing them and seeing their medals and uniforms.  Happy Veterans Day to everyone out there who loves our country!  Thank you grandma and grandpa for allowing us to enjoy the freedoms that we now have. I love you both!

Partied Out!!

This is the first year Brody would get his face painted.  He wanted to sleep with the paint on, but we wouldn't let him!  He looked awesome!!

Miss B was absolutly darling last night in the tutu I made her and her adorable onesie and headband!  She is eating her onesie in this picture yum yum!

Case went down the big slide a hundred times!  He was having a ball!!

Ledger entertained himelf most of the night.  He loved the balloon of Mickey Mouse that Jeremy the balloon guy made him.  He was a cute cowboy!

Presley was a cute little fairy!

Jefferson, Case, Brody and Hunter loved trick-or-treating in Sugar's house!
Where is Jackson in this picture?

Check out the food display.  It was AWESOME!!

Who wouldn't want to go to Sugar's party?

Is anyone else out there feeling exhausted and relieved Halloween is over?  Halloween is actually one of my favorite holiday's, but I am happy it is over and I am ready for the calmness of Thanksgiving!

Last night we went to Sugar's house for her awesome Halloween party.  This party is so awesome that I have never had to take my kids trick-or-treating because they don't want to leave the party.  Can you believe we have never taken our kids trick-or-treating?  The funny thing is, they don't seem to mind.  They have never complained about not getting to go.  That tells you something about Sugar's Halloween party. Last night Sugar had a blow up obstacle course, a bouncy, and best of all, the huge slide!!  The food was awesome, the balloon and face painting guys were AMAZING, and the company was perfect!  Toward the end of the night, when most everyone had left, Sugar let the boys trick-or-treat in her house.  She would go in a bedroom and have the kids knock on the door.  When she answered the door, the kids would yell TRICK-OR-TREAT and then she gave them a HANDFUL of candy.  Last night she hid bowls of candy and let the kids find them and empty the bowls into their bags.  It was a half an hour of giggling and laughter.  It was hilarious!!  We survived the night and even made it to 8:00 church this morning.  We are all wiped out and ready for some calm!  Hope you had a spooky fun Halloween and are ready to be thinking of all the things you are thankful for!
